Fresh, organic products cooked on site
This charming little restaurant is located right in the centre of Nîmes. They offer 100 % organic breakfasts, brunches, meals and pastries. Their meals are mostly veggie (when I went there, there was only one that contained fish) with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes. They have the Ecocert label and are open every day without booking ! The general atmosphere is really calm, but the restaurant fills up quickly : make sure you get your table early enough so you don't miss out !
The place isn't very big but it's very well laid out, so you're not all on top of each other. The decor is truly magnificent and very vintage! Honestly, it's typically the kind of address that's hyper-instagrammable as much for the beauty of the place as for the beauty of the food. Although it gets very busy very quickly, the place remains very quiet (I rarely go to restaurants because of the noise, having a problem with that, so I was delighted here).
It was a real coup de coeur that I absolutely had to share with you. Arnaud ordered a vegetarian risotto, which was accompanied by a salad, both very filling. As for me, I chose the vegan pokebowl, which was also very filling ! Both meals were exquisite, I've never had such a good bowl. It was super-complete, with lots of fresh ingredients (by the way, the avocado and pomegranate mousse mixture is to die for). We were able to try a local beer, brewed in Sommières, which was very, very good !
