Why take a course of food supplements in winter ?
With the onset of cold and bad weather, winter is the ideal time to take vitamin cures. They make it easier to get through the season with greater resistance to viruses, and help combat fatigue and other winter ailments. These cures can be used preventively to prevent most of the unpleasant aspects of winter, and many of them are natural (which is why they're the best choice!). In short, a winter course of vitamins has nothing but good things to offer !
But which vitamins should you choose ? Here are the most important ones :
- Vitamin C is a real bulwark against viruses and fatigue !
- Vitamin D is produced by the sun's UV rays. With the bad weather in winter, it's advisable to take vitamin D cures to combat fatigue and the winter blues.
- Magnesium is ESSENTIAL if you suffer from chronic fatigue and cramps !
- Zinc improves the immune response and recovery from fatigue.
Vitavea food supplements
Vitavea is a French brand of natural food supplements found in supermarkets. They sent me 6 of their products so that I could test them and give you some feedback. So I started a course of "Sublime Hair" gummies, Acerola gummies and melatonin capsules. As for Arnaud, he's started a course of royal jelly gummies. We both approve of these cures, although it will take longer to see the effects (although I'm already starting to notice the difference in my hair thanks to the gummies, it's much softer and silkier than before).
I wasn't able to test all the treatments because some of the products contain the same ingredients (in particular the brewer's yeast in the hair gummies and the vitamin C naturally present in Acerola). I've also received quite a few questions about these food supplements, asking me what the dosage is (although it's noted on each product) or what they're used for. So I thought that a more detailed review of each product on the blog would help you choose your treatment(s) for the new year !
